The details for the 2006 Foxwoods Open are on the
CCA website. The
Foxwoods Open is one of the largest tournaments in the U.S, one of the
largest US tournaments. It is held at the Foxwoods Resort and
Casino, the largest casino in the world.
The tournament is over, winners are posted.
Open was a three-way tie, Smirin, VanWely and Perelshteyn. Van Wely
won the playoff and the free hotel room next year. We actually have
the blitz playoff game as the final game in this year's 125 game
database! Thanks to Jerry Hanken and Justin Sarkar for this game, and
Loek and Ilya for playing it!
